On behalf of The Dispute Resolution Center, the staff would like to ask you to consider running/walking/ wheeling/strolling with us at the Big House Big Heart 10K, 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, scheduled for October 4, 2009. The race starts at the University of Michigan�s �Big House� football stadium, the largest in the United States. You will have the unique opportunity to run through the U of M football tunnel, under the goalpost, and watch yourself cross the 50 yard finish line on the huge Jumbotron screen!

Another unique opportunity is that the organizers, Running Fit, have opened this event to all area nonprofits for fundraising. We at The Dispute Resolution Center invite you to help our agency raise much needed funds by participating as a runner/walker/wheeler/stroller and/or by pledging funds to our organization.

Register for the race at www.bighousebigheart.com if you are walking/running, and list The Dispute Resolution Center as your charity of choice. Call or email our office and let us know that you have registered. If you wish to pledge funds, or collect pledges from friends, family, neighbors, co-workers, etc., let us know as well. Pledge checks should be made out to The Dispute Resolution Center. Fundraising packets, as well as registration forms are available from the DRC office.  Each pledged donation is tax deductible.

A Health and Wellness Expo will be held at Skyline High School, 2552 N. Maple, Ann Arbor, on Friday, Sept. 26 (4-8 pm), and Sat., Sept. 27 (9 am-2 pm).

The DRC will have a display table at the Expo. Registered participants can pick up their event packets at the Expo. The packets will contain their event number, and a t-shirt. Packets can also be picked up on race day.
